Day 5

Today was a very full day! It started off with an early morning bike ride and it was such a beautiful, crisp, cool fall morning. David LOVED it too and it was really fun to take him for a ride. After our ride, we went out for a family breakfast at Stack Em High. It was delicious and after working up an appetite, we ate a feast! After breakfast we all headed to the indoor pool and took Owen for his first swim! He didn't seem too fazed by it (as usual) and didn't seem to mind it. After lunch, we went to the beach for a couple of hours. Then we headed out to dinner at our tradition, Sonic (cherry limeades!!!) and to the dunes to watch the sunset. We got some beautiful pictures and the boys went to bed totally exhausted. They sure do know how to play hard!

We had such a great time yesterday at the Orchard! You have had such great weather for your fantastic vacation, for Linvilla (what great pictures with Mommom and Poppop). And then great weather again today! The hayride was so beautiful and I am glad I didn't miss this special day together. Those donuts were the best! It was so much fun watching Davey having such a great time at the different things. Then we all had time playing with Owen and watching his sweet smile. He loves to be held and talked to and we all love to see his smile. Davey and Mimi had fun making circles and keys in playdough and then making balls. Davey was so good at picking it all up and putting it away afterward, too. He played with the trains and the train track, with his new Sir Handel. then he especially liked playing with his new cars Lightning McQueen and Doc and all his other cars on his race track. He likes playing with them on Mimi and PopPop's bed the best though. He loved it when Uncle Al and Aunt B played with him, too. After our spaghetti and garlic bread, grapes and chocolate milk, apple juice and chocolat cupcakes and a piece of chocolate candy from B, Davey was ready to watch a Thomas Movie with Mimi and B. He had so much fun until he got too sleepy and asked to go to bed. He was such a good boy all day and we are so proud of him. Dave and Sarah, you are doing such a great job of parenting. When we see your diligence, tender care and concern for your children, we are so blessed and proud of you. We know you will see the wonderful fruit of all your labors through the grace of God as He brings forth life from your obedience. Just think your grandchildren will be looking at this blog and having so much fun. Thank you for all the work you put into keeping it up. How to we ask for particular pictures? They are all so great it will be hard to choose. I would love to take care of Davey, Isaac and Ethan sometime and watch them have so much fun together. See you soon. Love, Mimi
