Some Thanksgiving Memories

Thanksgiving morning, we made some memories doing some Thanksgiving crafts, making a thankful tree and making some cookie turkeys. We had a lot of fun together. David was so excited about it. He kept running around saying, "It's Thanksgibing, Mommy! Happy Thanksgibing!"

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast with all of Dave's family! Good times, good times. From the, ahem, late arrival of the corn (ha, ha, ha) to David and Kaylynn playing so nicely, to celebrating Terri's birthday, to just being together, we had a wonderful time. We ended our time by going outside to Jay and Pearl's wonderful neighbors house to see them turn on their Christmas lights! They go all out and we were not disappointed. It reminded me of the scene in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...it was great! My favorites were trees with lights and coordinating Christmas music! David didn't even know what to think. He was wide eyed just looking back and forth at everything! What a fun way to end the night. We are grateful for our family.

David and Kaylynn had their own special table, complete with a princess plate and a Lightning McQueen plate!

Owen's first Thanksgiving!
Owen with his Mommom.
Terri's 30th birthday fell on Thanksgiving! We celebrated her with an ice cream cake and Kaylynn and David "helped" Terri blow out her candles!
Uncle Mike was feeding Owen a yummy bottle. Owen will love Uncle Mike for life!
Kaylynn was so adorable with her little pretend hair things and makeup. She went around to everyone doing their hair and putting on makeup. I was so excited when she did mine, Mommom and Terri just looked at me and said, "You need to have a girl!" LOL...so true, so true.
Next stop: Sarah's parent's house for dessert! We enjoyed my mom's pies and we all helped decorate their Christmas tree! David enjoyed it so much! He can't wait to decorate ours!
We enjoyed being with both of our families and we're so thankful for each and every one!
