Today we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios! We started off having breakfast with all the Playhouse Disney characters! We met Jojo and Goliath and the Little Einsteins! This was a big hit with both David and Owen...and the buffet had Mickey waffles. At these meals, they always have singing and dancing with the characters too. Really fun. Next, we had one purpose and one purpose only: to meet Lightning McQueen and Mater. We were not disappointed and David was jumping up and down saying, "I'm in the Cars movie! I'm in the Cars movie!" "This is Radiator Springs!" "There's my friends!" He was ecstatic, to say the least. After, Dave and I went on a couple of fun rides and we headed to the stunt show. David loved this too as it was all car chases, explosions, car crashes and boat chases. He was in awe. We went on a few more rides and then say a Beauty and the Beast show. It was excellent once again and one my mom's favorites. We then went on my favorite ride of the week, the Tower of Terror. It was this old mansion that takes you up 32 stories in an old elevator shaft with the Twilight Zone theme. Then you get dropped in pitch black and windows open up and you see that you are at the top of the tower and they drop you again and then they take you up and drop you again. It was crazy and scary! But, it was sooo fun. After walking around and watching the parade, we went to American Idol. This was the best! It was so real...it was like you were actually at American Idol. They have people try out all day. We went to the last show before the finale. There were three singers, judges, everything. Then you voted and the winner went to the finale at the end of the day. The winner of the finale actually got a free pass to the front of the line at any American Idol auditon! The singers were so good and it was so much fun. My camera ran out of batteries pretty early in the day, so not many pictures. :(
We headed home and Dave and I went to our best dinner of the week at the Flying Fish on Disney's boardwalk. The food was excellent! It was our best meal of the week.
