We just found out that David and Owen will be getting a boy cousin in April! Mike and Terri are having a boy! Kaylynn will be such a wonderful big sister and we can't wait to meet the little man!

Great Pop-Pop's Birthday

Today we had a lovely meal at the Town House in Media for "Daddy's Pop-Pop's" birthday. It was really nice to see all of our family and David enjoyed sitting next to Kaylynn. It was all going so wonderfully...that is until David came down with a stomach bug!!! He started asking to go potty every 5 minutes and saying his "belly hurt" shortly after he finished eating his ravioli and meatball. Then as I (Sarah) was holding him and trying to comfort him he threw up all over himself, me and the floor!!! It was the worst he'd ever been sick. We did our best to clean him and the floor up and had to leave suddenly. When we got to the car, we stripped him down to his undies. He continued to throw up all the way home. Right now he's sitting next to me watching a movie with a bucket. Every now and then he has to throw up again and we try to help him. Poor little guy!!! He'll sleep in our room tonight so we can help him throw up if he needs too. I am praying that this is a quick virus as it's so hard to see our little guy so sick. I am also praying that Owen doesn't get this! Anyway, I wasn't able to get ANY pictures today because of all the craziness. Hopefully, I can borrow some from Mommom. Happy Birthday Pop-Pop! We love you!

Linvilla Orchards

Today, we made the trip up to PA to go to Linvilla Orchards with Mommom and Poppop. Dave, David and I went on a hayride while Mommom and Poppop played with Owen. Dave then took David on a train ride!!! Of course, David was thrilled. David then had such a fun time playing in the playland which is a park with all of these wooden trucks, airplanes, boats, castles, etc. to climb in and slide down. He had the time of his life. Owen was smiling and laughing and talking to Mommom and Poppop too while David was playing. We all had a great time and we loved seeing Mommom and Poppop too!

Happy Birthday David

Last Saturday we had a family birthday party with a Cars movie theme for David. He won't turn 3 officially until September 15, but we started celebrating early! :) All day, David was saying, "My party is here! My party is here!" and "I'm 3 now, Mommy, I'm not 2 anymore." He was so excited for his birthday party. Our family managed to brave the tropical storm that was going right through Delaware (of all days!!!) and we had a great time being together and celebrating David. David was completely enthralled with the cars cake that Mommom made him and we couldn't tear him away from it. Dave had to bbq inside our garage because of the rain, but we managed and he cooked some delicious food! David loved opening his presents and he blew out all of the candles on his cake. His eyes would light up with each new gift and he's been playing with all of his new toys ever since. Here are some of the fun moments...

Owie was held all day by Mommom and Aunt Terri and Mimi and Uncle Tom and Uncle Dan and Aunt B. He was so content all day.

Beach Weekend

This past weekend, we went to stay with Mommom and Poppop in Sea Isle and enjoyed the wonderful weather and made some great memories! We had two fabulous beach days and enjoyed the ocean and the sand. David made some friends (as usual) and had a blast playing with them and with Daddy, Mommy, Mommom and Poppop. Dave took David out to breakfasts on Sunday and Monday and took David for his very first bike ride too. They had some special times together. Owen was our little beach baby and mostly slept at the beach. We would go to the beach in the morning for a couple of hours, come home for lunch and then head back for the rest of the afternoon. Mommom and Poppop took us all out for a delicious dinner and Dave and I had a date night and got some ice cream and took a walk on the beach and sat and enjoyed the stars. It was such a great weekend and it was just what we needed. We can't wait till next year!!!
