David and Liam

David loves his little brother. He sings to him and hold him and laughs with him. Everything that Liam does is so special to David. He loves to try to get him to crawl and laugh and talk. It's precious. He also loves to help feed Liam. :)

Carving Our Pumpkin

Tonight we carved our pumpkin. Our boys were looking forward to this and were so excited with our finished product.

We had a fun day, beginning with Mommom and Poppop coming down for David's soccer game. We then headed to Jake's hamburgers and to our surprise a real Nascar race car was in the parking lot! David and Owen got to sit in the driver's seat and wave a victory flag. They were so excited! It was a treat. David was in awe. :)

Longwood Gardens

This past week we went to Longwood Gardens on a beautiful and warm day. We watched the fish in the pond, climbed the treehouse, watched the trains, went through the children's maze, collected leaves, walked through the "jungle" looking for tigers, and enjoyed the pumpkins. I love these boys! Even Liam enjoyed everything. He loves to be outside and watch his brothers play.

a BIG pumpkin!

Thomas and Percy were there carrying lots of pumpkins. There was a circus train too!

These boys love collecting leaves! We've done some leaf crafts and they just love them.

Get 'em next time!

Well, not the outcome we were hoping for, but David, Al, and Dave had a fantastic time! Apparently David was a little rock star in their section, leading the way with "Let's Go Phillies" chants. People loved him! :) And, he had the time of his life and was up and cheering the whole game!!!

Go Phillies!

Guess Where!

Guess where David, Dave and Al are going tonight...

The NLCS GAME 1!!! They will be going to the Phillies game tonight (which is David's 1st Phillies game!), watching one of the best pitching matchups in postseason history! HAPPY HALLADAY!

David is beside himself with excitement. I am so happy for them all, but jealous too!

Go Phils!!!

Weary

‎"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~Isaiah 40:29-31.

As a weary Mom who is very weak, this was so encouraging to me today. My hope is in the LORD who does not grow weary and who increases the power of the weak. I am thankful for a faithful God and for mercies that are new every morning (and evening! :) ).

Happy Six Months Old!

Happy 6 months old to our sweet Lili! We all love you sooo much!

Longwood Gardens

On Monday, I took the boys up for one last trip to Longwood Gardens before the fountains are turned off for the season. We LOVE it there. We have a membership through my parents and love to go there all throughout the year.

We had such a fun day together. David and Owen loved pretending to feed the fish in one of the ponds with grass, watching the ducks and geese swim, climbing the treehouses, playing in the fountains, going through the children's maze, watching the train display (especially Thomas!), sitting by the waterfall, learning about all sorts of plants and flowers, collecting leaves that had fallen to the ground, and running and walking all through the park. Liam loved sitting in my lap by the water and the fountains and watching all of the fun. I love being able to make special memories with my boys...it's the best!
