And I forgot to add that Owen is able to go on most of the rides too. The great thing about Disney is kids can go on almost all of the rides. Owen loves the flying rides. He laughs and laughs. He also LOVES the characters. They all come up to him and give him hugs and kisses and he laughs and gets so excited.

It's been a "magical" time!

GREAT TIME

Sorry for the lack of posts, but we've not had a moment of spare time! We are all having the time of our lives! We've loved every minute and I promise I will blog all about it when we get back. David has had the time of his life this week...he is just so excited all the time. It's priceless watching him take it all in. I can't believe some of the rides he's been on and water slides he's gone down! He is so fearless. He'll go on anything. His favorite thing so far, I think, has been meeting all the characters. He literally jumps up and down when he sees one. He runs up to them gives them a big hug and gets their autograph. It's the cutest thing ever. Oh, and today he met the REAL Lightning McQueen and Mater.

We are so grateful to have had this vacation together and we still have two full days to go!

We've Arrived

We made it here safe and sound. The trip went very smoothly and the boys did GREAT! I didn't know what to expect, but they both did very well in the airplane. We went to the Disney downtown marketplace last night for Ghiradelli sundaes and walked around and enjoyed the fun. We also went to the Disney boardwalk and walked around and played some games. We LOVE Disney! It's so beautiful and there really is SO much to do. We're about to leave for Magic Kingdom and David is beside himself with excitement...and so are we! :)

Oh, and you'll never guess who was on our plane! CJ and Carolyn Mahaney! What a small world.

Vacation

Tomorrow morning (early!), we leave for our trip to Disney World! We are so excited and it will be so nice to have an entire week together, especially since Dave has had to work so much these last few weeks. I am a little nervous about how our two boys will do on the plane, but hopefully everything will go smoothly. :)

I'm not promising anything, but I will try to post a couple of times while there. :)

So much to do...

Well, just four more days until...DISNEY WORLD!!! Whoo hoo! I am really excited. After an absolute crazy busy month, we are ready for vacation. Until then it will continue to be crazy, unfortunately. Dave is working 70+ hour weeks and staying at work a lot and we have been going from one thing to the next to the next. Our weekends have been even crazier. I can't believe we've actually made it through this past month! :)

I've a lot to do and the boys have been absolute troopers with our schedule. I am hoping that they continue to be that way this week while I get everything ready for our trip.

Also, my camera lens broke. It's been acting funny for about a month or so, and it just got worse and worse. It would sometimes focus and take the picture and other times nothing. I missed a lot of good shots. :( So...I got a new lens! A much better and really fun lens!!! The Lord worked out the details and I went from thinking that I was going to have no camera for a few months, to having a camera that works and a great lens. Just in time for our trip! I am grateful.

Anyway, please pray for Dave. He is working hard with little sleep and I don't know how he does it.

First Beach Day of the Year

Today we headed to the beach with our friends, the Jacksons. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. We all had a great time. David and Isaac even ran into the water!!! The water must be 50 degrees. Didn't seem to keep them away, though. Owen was determined to get to the sand and keeping him on the beach blanket was a little tough. :) He loves to put EVERYTHING (and I do mean everything) in his mouth, so I was just envisioning Owen scooping out handfuls of sand and putting it in his mouth! We managed to keep him away and he had the time of his life. David and Isaac had fun running around and playing in the sand...they both love the beach.
After spending the day in the sun and on the sand, we headed to Grotto's for pizza! We fed Owen his first taste of pizza and he ate almost an entire piece!!! That boy loves to eat. He was so excited, he just clapped his hands and would lunge forward to get the pizza. It was funny to watch! We also got some ice cream and gave him a taste of that too.
I can't wait for summer and many more trips to the beach to come .

The Culley's!

Today, we had a visit from our dear friends, the Culley's! Jen came down with her sweet children, Rebekah, Sydney, and Liam. Lindy brought her kids over and we had a little reunion. It was SO nice to see Jen and catch up and to see her wonderful kids. Rebekah was the little mother and held Owen which he LOVED. All the kids played so nicely together. It was a wonderful time. David loved playing with the girls. He didn't want them to leave! They were so kind to play with David and Isaac. Liam just fit right in with all the boys! He is so cute.
Owen really loved Rebekah. She was so sweet and gentle with him.

Thanks for coming all the way down here Jen!!! Can't wait to see you again.
