Snow Day

Today, Dave went into work late and we got to go outside and enjoy the snow! It was perfect "wet" snow, so we finally were able to make our Frosty. Owen was especially excited to make Frosty as he LOVES Frosty. :)

We all went sledding after making our Frosty and then went to our Wawa to get hot chocolate. Mmm!

Better News

In better news, Owen is now fully potty-trained! About a month or so ago, I finally decided to stop being so lazy and really work to get him full-time in underwear since he's been using the potty for about 10 or so months. :) And for the last couple of weeks, he's been in underwear all the time, except for bed times. And now he's staying in his big boy underwear all through his nap time too! The only thing that is tough is getting him to go on the potty when we are out. He's afraid. He says to me, "I afraid, Mama, I afraid." :) So, we are working on trying to get him to use the potty when we are out and about in public restrooms.

Way to go Owen! You are our big boy now. :)

Sick

All three boys are sick. :( Poor Liam has it the worst. He had to get a nebulizer and I have to give him treatments every 4-6 hours for a week. He also had a double ear infection and needed to go on antibiotics. Owen and David have colds with coughs, but are okay.

Poor Liam...he is so happy even though he's so sick. He seems just like his happy self...hopefully, he'll be feeling better soon.

Happy Birthday, Rileigh

We're remembering Rileigh Jackson today and missing her so much! We are sending our prayers and love and hugs to her Daddy and Mama, and brothers and sister. Our tears are with them today and we look forward to the day when our Savior himself will wipe away each one and we will get to meet their special little girl.

Happy Birthday in heaven, Rileigh.

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.”

"Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning."

The Please Touch Museum

Warning: There are a TON of pictures to follow. :)
This past Saturday, we went to the Please Touch Museum (Thanks, Mommom, for the tickets!!!). We took my Mom along with us and we had a blast! It's a fantastic place to take kids, especially during the winter months.

Someone gave us free tickets to the carousel ride too!!! Even baby Liam enjoyed it.

Playing at the McDonalds.

Dr. Owen checking his baby. She had a "booboo".

Baker Owen

One of their favorite parts of the museum: the grocery store!

Alice in Wonderland. The boys got a kick out of this room. :)

We're painting the roses red, we're painting the roses red!

Another highlight was the rivers and boats!

I love his face! He's trying so hard!

Going for a bus ride!

Pit crew and then off to the races!

Snow Fun

We've had a few small snowstorms this winter and we've loved every minute! Last week we had another snow and got to go sledding again. Our friends, the Dunphy family, joined us and we all had hot chocolate afterwards!

Snowball fight! The sled is their shield. :)

About to go!

Hopefully, we'll get a few more snowstorms this winter!

Happy New Year!

This morning we had a special family breakfast and we looked back over 2010 and thanked God for all of the blessings we received last year. We thought of our Liam who was born last April and how he has brought us so much joy. He is a ray of sunshine to all of us. We thought of our special Disney trip and all the fun memories that we made there. We thought of our friends and family who we love and all the fun times and memories with each one. We thought of our 10th wedding anniversary that we celebrated last year...10 years of God's faithfulness to us and our marriage. We thought of David turning 5 years old and how much we are so grateful for his life. He brings such joy to our hearts. He truly is our loving, encouraging, and happy boy. We thought of Owen becoming a two year old and how he is becoming his own person. We love him so and we're so grateful for his love for cuddles, hugs, and kisses, and how he wants to be a "big boy" so badly! We thought of our OBX vacation and how much fun we had with the Jackson family and our Mimi and Nana. It was so special to have Mimi and Nana with us! We thought of lots of blizzards and how much fun we had playing in all the snow.
Most of all, 2010 was another year of God's faithfulness and goodness and mercies showered upon each of us. We give thanks to the Lord for He is good!
