Our resort

We were able to stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort and it was wonderful. The rooms were very spacious and the resort was beautiful. We ate in all the restaurants and enjoyed some delicious food! My favorite of all was the Tonga Toast. A Polynesian version of french toast stuffed with bananas and coated with cinnamon and sugar. SO yummy! And each day, I enjoyed a Pineapple Dole whip. I wish I could have one of those right now!!! We also enjoyed the authentic Kona coffee each morning. That definitely helped me get through the days. :) We enjoyed lovely, warm weather while at Disney and were able to take advantage of the wonderful pool and beach. We also watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our resort beach complete with the soundtrack. We had a fantastic view. I think the best thing of all about our resort was that the monorail came right to it! That was unbelievably convenient as we were able to just push our stroller on and come back and forth from our resort very easily. The boys both LOVED the "Mickey train" too. We had a wonderful time and right now I am wishing we were back listening to the Hawaiian music throughout the grounds and enjoying the torches at night laying in one of the hammocks. :)

One of our favorite character meals was at Ohana's. It was delicious food and great characters and fun! We met Lilo and Stitch and Mickey and Pluto and danced in a parade with everyone! It was right in our resort too, so it was very convenient!

Enjoying the volcano pool (that actually erupted!) with a water slide! The pool was one of the highlights for David and Owen. They both loved being able to swim and it was refreshing for us too!

We ate at the Kona cafe twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. These were our favorite meals of the week! This is also where I was introduced to Tonga Toast. Mmm...
