Day 2

We had a fantastic day today. It was beautiful and a perfect beach day. We went swimming in the ocean and the kiddos had so much fun "crashing in the waves" :) Later in the afternoon, the kids went down for a rest time and the adults just chillaxed by the pool. The boys came out later and David started to learn to swim by himself with no flotation devices!!! He was so cute and brave. He has a hard time keeping his head above the water, but he did great for his first time. He said that he would try again tomorrow when "I'm 4 years old". That's right, our precious boy turns 4 years old tomorrow! I cannot believe how fast the past four years have flown by...but I digress that is another blog post to come tomorrow... :)

We ended the day with a fire with the outside music going, the lights on, and smores! We had a time of worship which was wonderful and we are playing Settlers now.

We are so grateful for the many blessings the Lord has given us. It is truly a precious gift to have this special time away with each other. We can't wait for tomorrow to celebrate our boy's birthday! Woo hoo!

They are both looking at the camera and (sort of) smiling...a miracle! :)
Chasing with Mr. Jackson...a highlight

Love their joy.

David's got his gameface on!

Smores! Or "camping" as the boys call it. How sad is that...they think camping is having a fire in the back yard. :)
