Happy Easter!

He is risen! We hope you and your family had a blessed Easter celebrating our Savior's resurrection. Our church had a special Easter service and what joy filled our hearts as we sang to our Risen Lord and we heard a wonderful sermon. It was so much fun to see all of the little ones dressed in their Easter finest.

We visited both of our families and David had the time of his life getting treats from Momom and Popop and Mimi and Popop. David also enjoyed his very first Easter egg hunt! Our niece, Kaylynn, was dressed in her beautiful Easter dress and it was fun to see David and Kaylynn together. David loved seeing his Uncle Al who is recovering from knee surgery and we hope that we were able to cheer him up! David came home with the biggest chocolate bunny I've ever seen from Mimi and Popop and I must confess, I've enjoyed it too.

"Babymoon"

Dave took me away for a long weekend to the south of Florida for a getaway before baby. We had a fantastic time! The weather was perfect and the beach and water exquisite!!! We had so much fun relaxing and being together, just the two of us. We had some really great food and swam away the days. It was wonderful. We missed our boy and we're glad to be back home with David!

Visit from Uncle Dan

Dave's brother, Dan, was kind enough to make the trip down to DE to visit us. David was of course very happy and excited to see him! It was really nice to get an update from Dan and we are glad he's doing so well! David loved playing tackle with Daddy AND Uncle Dan...a treat for him. We love getting to see our families...we love them all!

Happy Birthday Poppop/Dad!

Yesterday Dave, David and I all met our beloved Poppop/Dad for lunch to celebrate his birthday! We met Terri and Kaylynn and it was a wonderful and fun time. Anytime David gets to see his cousin Kaylynn, he is happy!!! David made a special birthday card for his Poppop and was so excited to see him. We hope Poppop/Dad had a special birthday...we love you!!!

Thanksgiving in...February!

Friends of ours, Jacob and Emily, cooked us and a few other friends an entire turkey dinner yesterday! It was delicious and so much fun to be with our friends. David enjoyed playing with his little friends Eli, Jake, Ethan and Nathan and much fun was had by all. We also learned a really fun card game called Guillotine. We are definitely going to get that game.

Thanks to Jacob and Emily, we all enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner in the middle of February. Fun!

Birthday

Well, I (Sarah) turned 30 this past week. I have been thinking about the past thirty years and I have so much to be thankful for! I have a wonderful family, a dear husband and precious son (and another on the way!), and faithful friends, some of whom I've known for over 20 years! As I look back over thirty years, I see one thing that stands above all the rest: God's faithfulness. Even in the midst of my unfaithfulness, He has never let me go. I have truly known the goodness and mercies of my Savior all of my days.
