Being Silly...

David and I spent some time playing outside and just being silly. I love being silly with my boys! It's too much fun taking pictures of David...he is sooo expressive! :-) I asked David what his favorite silly game to play with Mommy was and he said, "Tickle game. And silly faces." Ha, ha, ha!

It seems like the pictures done in the manual setting capture the color and light so much better too.

Indulge me...

Today, I finally got to take some pictures at a scenic location I find a couple of months ago. I didn't have very much time as the sun was setting very quickly and I was running out of light, but I was able to get some shots. I've been practicing taking pictures with the manual setting and I still have no idea what I'm doing! It was fun to go to such a beautiful location. Can't wait until Spring!

Happy Birthday, Melissa!

Today, we celebrated David's and Owen's cousin Melissa's birthday! Melissa is the sweetest girl we know and David and Owen love her very much. We were so glad to be able to spend our afternoon with our family celebrating Melissa.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Isaac!

Yesterday, we celebrated Isaac's 3rd birthday with a Cars party! Lindy did a fabulous job and made a really fun and creative cake that the boys just loved! All of the boys had so much fun with all the activities and games and David and Owen came home with a lot of treats! David was so excited that Isaac was having a birthday and he just couldn't wait to "sing happy birthday to Isaac"!

One of David's favorite parts of the entire day was when everyone had gone home, Keith was playing with David and Isaac and they were playing with Lightning and Mater and Frank and the tractor. They would move their cars up really quietly and then tip the tractor (just like in the movie) and then Frank would come and chase them! Isaac and David were just laughing and laughing!

We love you Isaac! You are a very special boy and we loved being able to celebrate your 3rd birthday!

Our sweet boys

Tonight as I was brushing David's hair after his bath, he spontaneously leaned over and gave me a hug and said, "Mommy, you're my best friend. I love you! I love to be with you, Mommy."

I almost cried...what a precious little boy.

Owen has started giving "kisses". He leans over and gives you a big, slobbery baby kiss. It's so sweet, it melts my heart. He's also started to inch forward in his efforts to crawl. Pretty soon, he'll be truly on the move!

It's a beautiful day!

What a beautiful day! After our morning errands, we all went for a walk to the park and enjoyed the warm sunshine and the fresh air. It was simply delightful to be outside!

"Daddy's Poppop"

Today, we went to visit Mommom and Poppop and also "Daddy's Poppop", as David affectionately calls him.

We heard an update from Mommom who is recovering and healing very well from her surgery, thanks in part to some very difficult physical therapy. She's on the mend and getting so much more mobility which was so exciting to hear!

We also stopped by to see Dave's grandfather. David really loves him and often talks about him and so it was delightful to have a little visit.

It's always a nice day when we spend it with our family.
