A couple of weeks ago, Dave and I went to Avalon/Stone Harbor for four days...just the two of us! We had a fantastic time. I took very few pictures, but here are some moments from our trip...
We had some fantastic food and wine while there and enjoyed Springers Ice Cream every night! :) We absolutely loved it there...so much so that we want to take our family there next year for an entire week! Dave and I really enjoyed the ocean...it was rough which is how we like the waves! :) It was so relaxing to read and be together without the kids...although we sure did miss them! We went for morning runs and then got some delicious breakfast pastry at the Bread and Cheese shop and of course had to do Uncle Bill's for pancakes. We had gorgeous weather!!! It was beautiful and we came back refreshed and relaxed and ready to go back to reality. :)
The really great sunset I didn't have my camera to take pictures of course. :)

Love the shadow picture on the sand...very cool idea! glad you had such a great time. what a blessing to be able to get away like that!
