Our Holiday Week, Part 2
Today we went to an indoor fun play park in PA with Mimi before she went home. The boys LOVED it! We went bowling, and the boys played in the gyms for hours. Owen thought he was a big kid and climbed all over! He went to the very top and LOVED all the slides. He went on them over and over again by himself. He had no fear! Even the very tall tunnel slides he loved. I couldn't keep up with David as he was all over the place. It was a (tiring) great day! We are looking forward to when we can go back! The boys had a great little visit with Mimi too.
And tomorrow, David gets to spend the day with Mommom and Poppop and Kaylynn and go see Disney on Ice! Needless to say, he is super excited and can't wait. This has been such a fun week, but I am tired and ready for some rest. :)
Our holiday week
On Monday my mom came to stay with us for part of her vacation and we went to the Adventure Aquarium with the boys for the Christmas Celebration. We met Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Scuba Santa, and were able to watch a 4-D Polar Express, and enjoy all the wonderful fish! We had a great time and got there early enough before the crowds came. The boys had a blast! Owen especially loved the fish! We had a very fun and memorable day!

Twas the Night Before Christmas...
After a lovely service at CFC with candlelight, we headed to Aunt Betty's home for a delicious Christmas Eve feast and were able to see all Dave's mom's side of the family for the annual Christmas Eve party. We had a great time seeing everyone!
When we got home, we got the boys in their Christmas jammies and read our stories. Dave read the Christmas story from Luke and a children's book about the Nativity and I read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" as the boys were drinking their egg nog. It's always a very sweet time together. We then put out egg nog and cookies for Santa and sent the boys off to bed eagerly awaiting the morning. Dave and I were able to watch part of "It's a Wonderful Life" and read a couple of passages on the Incarnation together before sleepily going to bed ourselves.
