Owen Daniel Johnston
Owen Daniel has arrived! Our precious boy was born on Thursday, June 26 at 3:27 AM after Sarah's water broke Thursday afternoon. He is 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 1/2" long. He has a lot of dark hair and looks a lot like David did when he was born. There are some differences and it will be so much fun to see Owen grow and change and to find out what his personality will be like! So far, he is a very pleasant baby who eats and sleeps well and we are enjoying every second with him.
David came yesterday to meet him and was so sweet and gentle. He came up on the bed beside Mommy and Owen and gave Owen a kiss and touched his hair and was saying "Hi Owen! Hi baby Owen! Owen Daniel!" It was really cute to see and we look forward to coming home and seeing him interact with Owen even more.
Thanks to everyone who prayed and are praying for us and for all the visits and gifts and for celebrating this precious gift with us!!! We are so thankful for all of you.
We'll be posting pictures when we come home from the hospital.
Love,
Dave, Sarah, David and Owen

Day Out With Thomas the Train!
After getting permission from my doctor to make the trip to Strasburg, PA, we were able, for the second year in a row, to visit Thomas the train! This year because David was older, we took the train ride and it was like a dream come true for David! He couldn't believe that he was getting to ride on the "real" Thomas the train!!! He loves to play with his trains at home and what fun we had watching him enjoy all the activities. It was a fun (tiring) family day and we were so glad we were able to go again this year. Hopefully, we can make it a yearly family tradition.
Rainbows and Promises
Last week we had a beautiful and amazing full rainbow right in back of our home, followed by a double rainbow. It made me think of the promise that God made Noah and every time I see a rainbow, I'm reminded of God's unending mercy and grace towards me and my family.
Thank you Lord for your faithful and true promise to us!

Great Quote
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in His wonderful face.
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in His wonderful face.
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
