Photoshoot with the Boys

We took the boys for a photoshoot and got some precious shots. I love trying to capture who they are with the camera. Sometimes when I'm looking through my pictures, I'm just overwhelmed with how blessed I am to have three beautiful and healthy and sweet boys and an amazing husband. I am truly grateful! Here are some of my favorites...

Liam's Dedication

We dedicated our Liam to the Lord today. It was a special day to celebrate what a precious gift he is to all of us and also to remember our calling as parents to train our children to love the Lord. We are so aware of our need of God's grace and wisdom as we raise our three boys. How grateful we are to serve a faithful God!!!

What a sweet boy we have in our Liam. He lights up our lives!!!

We love you Liam. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make his face to shine upon you. May the Lord life up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Fall Festival

On Saturday, we went to a local farm/orchard to pick pumpkins and enjoy their fall festival. Dave has been working a lot of hours, so it was very nice to have a family day. The boys loved the farm animals (especially the chickens and chicks) and they each got to ride a pony. Owen was thrilled to ride the "horsie". David's favorite part of the day was the corn maze (which was long!). We picked out our pumpkins and enjoyed some delicious apple cider donuts! We thought it would be so crowded because the weather was so beautiful, but we lucked out and it was not crowded at all! We had a great day together.
David was our leader. :) He really took that responsibility seriously.

Field Trip - Fire Station

On Friday, we took a field trip with our playgroup to a local fire station. The VERY nice firemen and paramedics taught a little class on fire safety and took the kids inside an ambulance a fire truck. The boys loved going inside the trucks. Owen was especially thrilled! It was very cute. Now, they know to "Stop, drop, and roll!"
