Easter fun

We had lots of Easter fun this weekend! On Friday, David and I dyed eggs and made some Easter themed crafts. On Saturday we attended CFC's Easter egg hunt and magic show. It was so much fun! David was in awe of the magic show...he was so cute. He then had fun finding the eggs with lots of other little children. David's so funny...he doesn't quite know what to do in situations like that. When they said ready, set, go, he found one egg and brought it back to me like he was finished! :) I explained that he could go and get more. He went back and forth like this for a little while until finally he had collected a basket full of eggs. :) We visited CFC today and enjoyed their Easter service. It was so nice to see our old friends. We also had the chance to visit both of our families and David had so much fun hunting for eggs and treats! Owen just enjoyed all the excitement and fun.

Good Friday

From the Valley of Vision,

Christ was all anguish that I might be all joy,
cast off that I might be brought in,
trodden down as an enemy that I might be welcomed as a friend,
surrendered to hell’s worst that I might attain heaven’s best,
stripped that I might be clothed,
wounded that I might be healed,
athirst that I might drink,
tormented that I might be comforted,
made a shame that I might inherit glory,
entered darkness that I might have eternal light.
My Saviour wept that all tears might be wiped from my eyes,
groanedthat I might have endless song,
endured all pain that I might have unfading health,
bore a thorny crown that I might have a glory-diadem,
bowed his head that I might uplift mine,
experienced reproach that I might receive welcome,
closed his eyes in death that I might gaze on unclouded brightness,
expired that I might for ever live.
O Father, who spared not thine only Son that thou mightest spare me,
All this transfer thy love designed and accomplished;
Help me to adore thee by lips and life.
O that my every breath might be ecstatic praise, my every step buoyant with delight

Owen's First Kiss

The cutest little baby boy

Introducing my sweet nephew, Brendon Michael. I think he looks so much like Terri! I had so much fun getting to meet him and hold him and see Terri and Mike. Isn't he the cutest?!?

Fun week

This week, we got to have two adorable little boys stay with us. David and Owen loved having them around and we even got to attend our playgroup's Easter party. We had such a great time! Thanks Chris and Fibia for letting us take care of the twins!!! We love them both.
