My Little Pilgrims

This month, we've been learning all about the first Thanksgiving. We've learned a silly song, made crafts, and we've read some books about it. David's favorite "character" is Squanto. Two weeks ago, we made these pilgrim hats and the boys have enjoyed pretending to be pilgrims ever since. :) We also made our thankful tree and the boys have enjoyed watching the tree fill up with leaves that have what they are thankful for written on them. We've really enjoyed learning all about Thanksgiving!

Our First Thanksgiving Dinner

We had our annual Thanksgiving dinner with our small group last weekend. It was a lot of fun and the food was delicious! Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when Dave came down with the stomach bug! Now, everyone has had it in our family except for Liam. It's made it's way through all of us for the past month and we hope we've seen the last of it!

Field Trip - Dover Air Mobility Museum

A couple of weeks ago, we took a field trip to the Air Mobility Museum. The boys loved getting to see all the airplanes and even go inside one! They learned all about the different airplanes and some real heroes from World War II. The boys loved the planes and it was fun to learn all about them.

Liam - 7 Months

Liam turns 7 months old this week. It's hard to believe how fast the last seven months have gone by! Liam is growing up so fast and it seems like each week he is learning something new. He just figured out how to go from on his hands and knees to sitting up all by himself. He seems so proud of his accomplishment each time he does it too. :) He also just learned how to clap his hands. It's adorable! He claps his hands when I come to get him out of his crib, when I turn on his little mobile (he LOVES it), when I put him in his high chair for food, and just for fun. It is so cute. He still isn't really crawling or going forward that well. He just rocks on his hands and knees and crawl a little while on his hands and feet. He is a little person with his own unique personality and we love him so much!!!

Yay!

Happy boy...with two teeth!

Mmmm...he loves to eat his feet.

David's Last Soccer Game

After another fun season, the Wildcats played their final game last weekend. David played very well and scored goals. He gave it his all! Both David and Isaac both worked very hard this season and it was so much fun to watch them play their little hearts out each week. We loved our coach this season and David enjoyed playing with his buddy Isaac. Next year, Owen will be old enough to play!
So proud of their trophies!

Look at that face!

Getting the ball...

Taking it toward the goal...

GOAL!

Defense!

Owen liked to cheer David on while at the games. And play with Abby.

Goooo Wildcats!
